NT Cricket Staff


Mr Troy Watson - Chief Executive Officer


Troy has joined NT Cricket following a breadth of experience gained through international and national roles. He has a keen interest in cricket and has previously visited Darwin through his early career with the Royal Australian Navy. He is pleased to be returning to the north.  

 
 

Ms Margaret Loorham - Administration Manager 

Margaret has come to the NT from Albury, where she attended many Australian Country Championship competitions and witnessed NT Strike’s success. She enjoys watching cricket under a big shady tree with good company, food and wine.  The weather and the lifestyle are her favourite aspects of living in the NT.

   

Mr Mitch Farnell - Game & Market Development Manager

Mitch has recently arrived in the Northern Territory from the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand where he worked in various regional and national sporting roles. He is enjoying the friendliness of Darwin and getting used to a completely different climate. He is looking forward to the dry season and to meeting more cricket loving people.

 
 

Mr Phil Lovell - Club & Cricket Operations Officer

Phil played 15 seasons as a player with Melbourne Premier Clubs Carlton and Fitzroy/Doncaster prior to moving to Alice Springs to work with NT Cricket. He has recently moved to Darwin to take up the role of Club Development Officer and enjoys the diversity of the NT community and the participants who play cricket.

 

Ms Cassie Langford - Game Development Officer, Top End

Cassie has recently joined the NT Cricket team after completing a teaching degree while working with Cricket NSW where she worked in different school programs as well as with Sydney Thunder. She believes that living in the NT is the most relaxing way to live and enjoys the people, weather and traffic. She wants to help cricket continue to be a great game for all. 

   

Mr Ben Hodgart - Game Development Officer, Top End

Ben commenced work with NT Cricket in May 2014 after extensive experience offered through the SEDA program with Cricket Victoria and Cricket Australia. He has been involved in planning, organising and assisting programs such as the Big Bash League, school programs and Twenty20 Blast, along with assisting at the Imparja Cup. He enjoys the relaxed lifestyle and the warm weather of the Top End and is looking forward to bringing cricket into communities throughout the NT.


 

Mr Cameron Carroll - Game Development Officer - Central Australia

Cameron comes to NT Cricket following a long junior cricketing career at the Glenelg District, Sacred Heart College and Sacred Heart Old Collegians Cricket Clubs. He is enjoying the NT weather and the friendly welcome he has received.

   

Mr Matt Hammond - Game Development Trainee

Matt was born and bred in the Northern Territory and has recently completed Year 12 and commenced a traineeship with NT Cricket. He has played cricket for the Northern Territory on several occasions and believes that living in the Northern Territory provides a truly unique atmosphere to explore.



 

 

Mr Jack Flynn - Head Curator   

Jack is a born and bred Territorian and is excited to be working as part of the NT Cricket team. He has played cricket for several years, progressing from Juniors through to Seniors. He loves all aspects of being involved in cricket in the NT.

Ms Natalie Gibbs - Communications

Natalie loves a game of back yard or beach cricket and is enjoying learning the particular language of cricket. She finds the pace of NT life just right and enjoys working and socialising with people who are constantly friendly and relaxed.
