Beginning in 2006, the Desert Rose Cup is an intra-Territory competition for female cricketers looking to take their cricket to the next level.
The tri-series sees Alice Springs and Darwin representative teams go head-to-head over three days, playing 40 Over matches to determine the Desert Rose Cup Champions.
The competition is held every October and both Darwin and Alice Springs host the carnival alternatively.
Alice Springs are the 2011 Champions and will defend their title in the 2012 Desert Rose Cup to be held in Darwin.
