As part of its National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS), recognised by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), Cricket Australia is responsible for the organisation and conduct of Level Three courses.
Cricket Australia conducts one Level Three course each year. It is a one-week, live-in course, generally held at the Centre of Excellence in Brisbane.
NT Cricket is usually invited to nominate a maximum of two candidates to the course.
The selection criteria as determined by Cricket Australia is:
- + Current accredited Level Two (Advanced) Coach
- + Recommended three-years experience as practicing Level Two Coach
- + Full-time or part-time employees of State Associations working in High Performance programs
- + Secondary candidates appointed as head coaches at District/Grade Club Level
