
The Alice Springs Cricket Association is the governing body for cricket in the Alice Springs and Barkley region. The Red Centre's Season is held from October through to March and includes, men’s, women’s and junior divisions.
Men
Men's cricket is played in Alice Springs during the Australian cricket season, from October to March. There are four senior men's grades, with games played on Saturday afternoons and occasional Saturday nights.
Senior men's games are held at various grounds around Alice Springs - fixtures are advertised weekly in the Centralian Advocate newspaper.
Female
Women's cricket is played in Alice Springs during the Australian cricket season, from October to March. There is a fun and social women's competition, which has four teams competing. The two-hour games are played on Thursday nights at the oval in Flynn Drive, Alice Springs. There is also a boys-free zone competition for girls under 13 years.
Junior
Junior cricket is played in Alice Springs during the Australian cricket season, from October to March. Junior cricket is sectioned into five grades, with players ranging from seven to 17 years-old. Games are played on Saturday mornings, and occasional nights, at various locations around Alice Springs. There is also a boys-free zone competition for girls under 13 years and MILO in2CRICKET for children aged five to 10 years.
