Tracy Village claimed their first piece of cricket silverware since winning the One Day Final in 2009 when they defeated PINT in the Darwin Carlton Mid Premier Grade Twenty20 Final at Marrara on Sunday.
On the back of a brilliant individual effort from Tracy Village Skipper Simon Keen who scored 109 from 64 balls, Tracy Village were able set up a match winning total of 161 runs that PINT were unable to chase down.
Keen's innings included an impressive 10 fours and 5 sixes. PINT's Luke Robins scored an exciting 48 runs from 42 balls and was ably assisted by Greg Clarence with 27 runs from 19 balls however the PINT run chase finished 19 runs short.
