Preparations are being finalised for the School Sport NT cricket team to travel to Perth today to compete in the 15 Years and Under School Sport Australia Cricket Championships.

Starting with a trial match against Belridge Senior High School on Friday 22nd February, the team are looking to improve on their 2012 performance and make their stamp on the national Under 15 stage.

Coach Brett Rankin is excited about the quality of the selected players. “Captain Kyle Scrimegour, James Tate and Will Anstey are backing up from their Under 17 National Championship performances, as well as the exciting Louis Coonan who is an outstanding prospect,” he said.

“With 6 players returning from their 2012 experience, we are well placed to perform strongly. I am really looking forward to seeing the boys in action,” Brett said.
