Round 3 of the Darwin & Districts Cricket Competition (DDCC) on Anzac Day will proudly support Soldier On, with fundraising activities designed to highlight Solider On’s work in supporting Australian service men and women who have been effected by their service.

Four matches will be held from midday on Anzac Day, with all funds raised going towards Soldier On.

Chair of Darwin Cricket Paul Allen is pleased to see Darwin cricketers get behind this worthy cause. “I thank Michael Nichols, Secretary of the NT Umpires Association for implementing this initiative and I would encourage everyone to come along to the games on Tuesday and support Soldier On.

“There will be fundraising bbqs and donation tins at all grounds, and a fantastic signed bat from the 2015/16 Test Series against the West Indies will be raffled throughout the day,” he said.
