Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund & Grassroots Cricket Fund
Cricket is investing more into community cricket facility projects than ever before through the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) and Grassroots Cricket Fund.
NT Cricket and Cricket Australia are partnering to provide clubs, associations, schools, councils and cricket facility managers with the opportunity to apply for funding for cricket facility projects.
The ACIF has been further bolstered by the announcement of contribution towards facility development via the Grassroots Cricket Fund. The Grassroots Cricket Fund is a partnership between The Australian Cricketers' Association and Cricket Australia, with funding being contributed by Australian cricketers to support cricket in local communities.

Grassroots Cricket Fund
Grassroots cricket is where we got our start. It is where learnt about cricket and honed our skills – and it is where our love for the game began.
For cricket to thrive in Australia, it is essential it thrives at its roots and that is why four years ago we committed up to $30 million for the Grassroots Cricket Fund.
As clubs around the country continue to recover from the impacts of COVID-19, the Grassroots Cricket Fund will again make $2.5 million available for volunteer support & equipment Grants to cricket clubs that play such an important role in their local communities – and this year, for the first time, those funds will also be made available to Indoor Cricket Centres and Premier Cricket Clubs.
From Monday, 25 October 2021, the grants will open for three weeks and be positioned as an opportunity for clubs and indoor cricket centres to access funds to support the development of their volunteers and to purchase equipment to support, training and other operating requirements;
It has been a tough time for clubs and communities throughout Australia, but we know that cricket is not only fun, it also teaches resilience.
On behalf of all of Australia’s professional cricketers, we’re proud to play our role to help strengthen Australian community cricket.
