It was a weekend of upsets in Round 14 of the Alice Springs Cricket Association Carlton MID A Grade Competition with both matches having the unexpected team win the match.

Rovers will be looking to back up their first win of the season as they come up against one of the competition favourites in West, who last week, were beaten by Complete Construction Works. However, West welcome back a number of their players who missed last weeks match and will be looking for a big win against the double blues who will be hoping to replicate their win last week and finish their season on a high.

Complete Construction Works, the big improvers of the 20/21 season, will take on ladder leaders Federal Asbuild with Feds hoping to win and secure top spot on the ladder. This will mean another week off for Feds who come off the bye last week before playing in the Grand Final on March 27. Works have been on the rise in the last few weeks and pose a big threat to Feds with Hasnain Zaidi, The Chief Destroyer, with both bat and ball in recent matches for his side.

B Grade will come down to the last round also with the top two sides, Feds and West separated by percentage only. Federals just need to win to hold on to top spot and go straight through to the Grand Final, while West need to win well and hope for a Works win against Feds to secure top spot. Federal Asbuild will take on Works at Head St while West play Rovers at Flynn Drive.

C Grade looks slightly more settled with Federal Asbuild White heading straight through to the Grand Final with Works and Alice Tigers looking likely to play off in the Semi Final next weekend. That is of course, unless Federal Red can beat the Tigers by a sizeable margin and move into second spot. Feds White will play Works at Paul Fiztsimons Oval on Saturday, Tigers will play Federal Red at Ross Park and West will take on Rovers on Sunday at Paul Fitzsimons Oval.
