The Yeperenye Shopping Centre Women’s Competition kicked of the 2021/22 ASCA season in style last night under lights at Flynn Drive Oval with a grand final rematch between Federal ASbuild and West Cricket Club . The ladies in red and white continued their winning form from last season taking home the first win of 2021/22.  

 

Complete Construction Cricket Club (CCCC) defeated Alice Tigers, and will hope to continue their winning form heading into their Round 2 match against Federal.

 

The A Grade competition will commence with a split Round one T20 fixture, CCCC and Federal will play the opening game of their season this Saturday with Alice Tigers and West playing their first match under lights at Albrecht Oval on Friday 15 October.

 

Both B grade and C grade start the season this weekend in the One Day format.

 

Rovers and Federal meet at Head Street while West and Alice Tigers clash on Flynn Oval both from 12:30pm to get the B grade season underway.

 

Round 1 of the C grade will be played over a split round with Alice Tigers and CCCC playing at Ross Park, Federal Red and Federal White at PFO and in the Sunday fixture, West taking on Rovers at Head Street. All games commence at 1pm.

 

Junior games commence Saturday 16 October.
