For the first time in almost two years the Northern Territory senior men’s team will be back in action, with the NT Strike to take on the Tasmanian Tigers.

As part of NT Cricket’s emerging partnership with Cricket Tasmania, the Northern Territory senior men’s team will take on Tasmania in a series of one day matches each year for the next three years.

This is a fantastic development for cricket in the north that will see the Territory’s best players taking on a professional cricket team that competes in Cricket Australia’s Sheffield Shield and One Day Cup competitions.
 
Former NT Cricket Development Manager and experienced coach, Jason Bremner, will coach the Northern Territory senior men’s team with the support of assistant coach, Marc Calkin, from PINT Cricket Club.
 
The NT Strike will play two 50 over games against the Tasmanian Tigers at Marrara Cricket Ground on 15 and 21 August, with both matches commencing at 10am. Both matches are free entry.
