Annual General Meeting Update - Monday 9 November

 

The Northern Territory Cricket Association Inc (NTCA), advises that special resolution 8 “Member vote on Special Resolution to approve NTCA applying to become registered as a public company limited by guarantee under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) with the name ‘Cricket North Australia Limited’ and the adoption of a new Constitution, the details of which are attached to this Order of Business”, has been withdrawn from the agenda of NTCA's Notice of Annual General Meeting. The meeting is to be held at 10am on Saturday 21 November 2020 at the NTCA office in Darwin.


The proposed resolution has been withdrawn following further consultation and feedback from the NTCA membership. The withdrawal of resolution 8 will not affect the validity of the of the proxy form attached to the 2020 Notice of Annual General Meeting or any proxy forms already submitted.

Notice is hereby given that the Northern Territory Cricket Association Inc. (NTCA) Annual General Meeting will be held at the NTCA office, 155 Abala Road, Marrara, NT on Saturday 21 November at 10am (ACST).

The Returning Officer hereby calls for nominations from members for the following positions:

- Deputy Chair

- One Elected Director

- One Director nominated by Alice Springs Cricket Association

Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer by COB Monday 2 November 2020. Nomination forms are available to be collected from the NTCA office or can be downloaded by clicking on the links below and may be submitted by hand, mail or email.

At the meeting there will be a Member vote on a Special Resolution to approve NTCA applying to become registered as a public company limited by guarantee under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) with the name ‘Cricket North Australia Limited’ and the adoption of a new Constitution.

All NTCA Members are welcome to attend but only eligible members will be entitled to vote or take part in any of the meeting’s proceedings. All Members are asked to bring photo ID to enable them to be marked-off the register upon entry.
