The T20 season will culminate with the grand final on Sunday evening with West already locking up their spot in the season decider.

The reigning premiers have won each of their three matches thus far, earning the right to defend their crown but who they face in the decider will remain a mystery until Saturday.

The Bloods will enter the grand final full of confidence after a morale boosting victory over Federal on Saturday night in a low scoring affair.

Both sides struggled with the bat but excelled both with the ball and in the field.

Each of the four other teams remain a mathematical chance of playing in the grand final with Federal Asbuild and Complete Construction Cricket Club the most likely.

Both clubs have two matches remaining, including a fixture against one another on Saturday afternoon, meaning the winner will likely face West in the final provided they also win their last matches.

Acting almost as a semi-final of sorts, the intensity is sure to be high when they square off at Jim McConville on Saturday afternoon from 12pm.

For Federal, their other match will be against Rovers at Traeger Park on Thursday night from 6pm, while CCCC will play Solergy Alice Tigers on Friday night.

Rovers and Tigers are both mathematical chances of playing in the final but the two sides must win both of their remaining matches, while hoping each of CCCC and Federal win one game each.

For Rovers, that task looks even more difficult as they face West and Federal in their two matches.

Whoever wins through to the grand final will take on West in the competition’s showpiece event on Sunday night, beginning at 7pm at Traeger Park.

In the B Grade, both spots in the grand final remain up for grabs with Federal Asbuild, Complete Construction Cricket Club and West battling it out for the honours.

Federal and CCCC have won both of their games to date with West winning one of two, but the Bloods’ game against CCCC on Saturday is likely to play a pivotal role in who makes it through. That match will take place at Rhonda Diano Oval from 12pm.

Federal will sew up their spot in the decider if they win one of their two remaining fixtures, coming against Rovers at Flynn Reserve at 12pm on Saturday and CCCC at Rhonda Diano Oval at 3.30pm.

The B Grade final will be played on Sunday afternoon from 3pm.

In the C Grade, Federal Asbuild Red have already cemented their spot in the final and will likely take on either CCCC or Solergy Alice Tigers.

The C Grade final will be played Sunday from 12pm.

The Women’s Competition will see the final regular season round before the Christmas break be played on Thursday night, with CCCC playing Federal Asbuild from 6pm and West taking on Alice Tigers from 8pm. Both matches will be played at Flynn Reserve.
