Northern Territory batsmen Jayllen Naganayagam has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2019 Under 19 Male National Championships after sustaining a Grade 1 hamstring injury. Naganayagam received the injury during the Round 1 match against NSW Metro while fielding.

Victorian, left hand top order bat Ashley Chandrasinghe will come into the side as his replacement. Chandrasinghe is no stranger to the NT players, playing for Nightcliff Cricket Club during the Darwin and Districts Cricket Competition season.

Northern Territory will play undefeated Victoria Metro in Round 3 tomorrow at Murdoch University Oval, Perth from 10am.
