NT were simply outclassed by NSW Metro in Round 9 at the Cricket Australia Under 18 Female National Championships. The 50-overs format game was played at NTCA No 1, in Launceston.
NSW won the toss and decided to field and after 25.2 overs it was all over for the Territory who were bowled out for 48. Captain Jessica Bradley (13), batting in her usual position at three, was the only player to reach double figures. Metro left-arm orthodox, Nell Bryson-Smith, was the star with the ball taking 4-1 off 6.2 overs.
The NSW run chase lasted 7.4 overs and at stumps they were 1-49 – Eliza Barnett (1-14) was the wicket taker.
