In a significant boost to cricket in the north, Quality People today recommitted to their partnership with NT Cricket as part of an expanded relationship that will directly support the local community.

Quality People Recruitment, Contracting and Consulting Services is an Australian owned and operated recruitment agency specializing in finding quality, hard-to-get professionals for employers across Australia, with a key division in Darwin.

As official recruitment partner, Quality People have assisted NT Cricket over the past twelve months in supporting the cricket community through a shared commitment to provide leadership, quality service and fairness.

In a further demonstration of Quality People’s commitment to supporting the community, their expanded partnership will link directly into the local Darwin & Districts Cricket Competition (DDCC) by becoming naming rights partner of the Quality People Women’s Competition, as well as the Quality People C Grade Competition.

The investment in the DDCC’s Quality People Women’s Competition is of particular importance with women’s club cricket in Darwin being at a critical stage of its re-emergence, having returned in 2019 for the first time in seven years.

Thanks to Quality People’s support, the Darwin Cricket Management Committee (DCMC) will be able to assist clubs in resourcing the competition to provide an enjoyable and quality cricket experience.

Commenting on the renewed partnership NT Cricket CEO Joel Morrison said:

“We’re delighted to have Quality People recommit to our partnership. Their decision to do so in the midst of a very challenging economic climate speaks volumes of their commitment to the Territory community, as well as their values.

“Quality People and NT Cricket specialise in identifying highly specialised talent in the Territory, and I’ve got no doubt our renewed partnership will help uncover more talent on and off the cricket field.”

Quality People’s Managing Director Julian Silverman commented:

“Quality People is excited to continue as recruitment partner for NT Cricket. Through this partnership we are demonstrating our commitment to grow the game at a local and grassroots level, assisting members of the community by opening doors for them through playing the game they love.

We congratulate Joel and the team on the fine work they have done in such a short time to put NT Cricket on the map.

Cricket in the Territory is expanding rapidly and it is fantastic to see how the local community is embracing the sport. Quality People is proud to support local endeavours; we look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with NT Cricket.”

DCMC Chair Lachlan Baird was thrilled to welcome Quality People to the DDCC family.

“It’s been a challenging few months for community sport due to the disruption caused by COVID-19, so to have Quality People on board to help get the competition back up and running is fantastic.

“We especially can’t wait to see the continued development of the Quality People Women’s Competition this season thanks to the generous support of Julian Silverman and his team.”

The Quality People Women’s Competition commences tonight at Marrara Cricket Ground and will run every Friday night until mid-September.

The Quality People C Grade Competition takes places each Saturday and will also run until mid-September.
