It was the Hobart Hurricanes who took out the 2019 TIO Women's Strike League competition after a wonderful week of cricket in the North.

In the end it came down to the wire, with the Northern Tide spoiling the Hurricanes perfect run in the final game of the competition. The Tide came out of the gate firing to walk away with a 35 run win.

The big win by the Tide meant that an afternoon win against the Cyclones would put them on even points with the Hurricanes, with the run rate percentage the only thing between them and the cup.

The Tide were triumphant against the Cyclones however it was the Hurricanes who held strong at the top of the ladder with a run rate 0.2% higher than the Tide.

38 players, six rounds, four states represented, two grounds, one fantastic week of Women's Cricket in the Top End.
