Rossy Williams Shield

The Rossy Williams Shield is the final remote carnival before the Imparja Cup held annually during February in Tennant Creek, a town located in central Australia. Tennant Creek is the seventh largest town in the Northern Territory, and is located on the Stuart Highway, just south of the intersection with the western terminus of the Barkly Highway.

Named after one of the founders of the Imparja Cup, Warumungu man Ross Jagamara Williams, the Shield is a highlight in the town's calendar with men's and women's teams coming together for a weekend of cricket and connection.
