Jake Pavlich joins NT Cricket as Head of Facilities

We are thrilled to introduce Jake Pavlich as the newly appointed Head of Facilities at NT Cricket.

With a passion for cricket and turf that has roots in his childhood, Jake brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to his role.

Born in Loxton, South Australia, Jake's journey in cricket and turf management began at the age of 5, when he helped his father create a pitch in their backyard.

Our 'test matches' were a family affair. I'd be out hand watering after play, getting ready for the next round after school

Jake's playing career spanned from his early years to his mid-20s, fostering his love for team sports and a desire to work hands-on in the outdoors.

His professional journey took off with an apprenticeship in horticulture, sports turf management, and curation at Sacred Heart College in Adelaide where he honed his skills for nine years.

"I then took on the role of Turf Supervisor/2IC at SACA's Karen Rolton Oval/Park 25 for eight years. It was a crucial step in my career and I was fortunate to have incredible mentors and workmates who shaped my professional outlook," Jake said, highlighting the pivotal role others played in his success.

Eager to take on new challenges, Jake has ventured to Darwin, where he is eager to continue to contribute to the world of sports turf management.

Now, as the Head of Facilities at NT Cricket, Jake can see a bright future for the organization, emphasizing its exciting phase and immense potential.

NT Cricket is at a very exciting phase with enormous potential. There's a great foundation, and I'm eager to contribute to the continued rise and success of cricket in the NT
