Northern Territory Cricket is proud to announce the renewal of our long-standing partnership with Territory Sports Medicine as ‘Official Physiotherapy Partner”.
Territory Sports Medicine Take NT Cricket Partnership To 10 Years
The new three-year deal continues a decade of collaboration between NT Cricket and Territory Sports Medicine, a locally owned and operated medical centre that has been servicing the Northern Territory for the last 30 years.
TSM will continue to provide an elevated level of medical and physiotherapy support to NT Cricket’s Male and Female representative cricket squads, as well as coverage for the increasing number of international and elite cricket teams and events returning to the Top End.
Further, the renewed partnership will build on the Northern Territory’s reinvigorated role in Australian Cricket, with NT Cricket facilitating new collaborative sports science and medicine opportunities between TSM and Cricket Australia including supporting Australian Cricket High Performance Programs both domestically and overseas.
Over the past 12 months TSMs Samantha Lane (Australian Men’s Cricketer’s with an Intellectual Disability), Kathryn Volk (Australia Men’s ‘A’ and Australia U19 Girls) and Doctor Sonali Pande (Australia Men’s ‘A’) have all received the opportunity to work with Australian national cricket teams, providing invaluable experience and exposure for some of the Northern Territories most talented sports medicine professionals.
Territory Sports Medicine Director Murray Schneider:
“The timing of this agreement aligns perfectly with the exciting new era of High-Performance at NT Cricket under the leadership of Nick Winter (Head of Cricket) and Trent Keep (Pathways and Talent Development Coach).
Territory Sports Medicine remains committed to supporting Territory athletes to perform at their best – on and off the field – and together we are confident that the 2025–2026 season will be the most successful in NT Cricket history”.
NT Cricket CEO Gavin Dovey:
“We absolutely love Murray and the team at TSM. They are world class at what they do and as a proud Territory owned and operated business they understand our community, challenges and the direction we’re trying to take the sport.
TSM have been a big part of NT Cricket for such a long time, and they have been instrumental in our elite cricket growth story, so we are thrilled to be riding shot gun together for another three years.”
