🟡 Beyond Blue - Mental Health Matches Review
A huge thank you for your support of this important initiative.
Together, we raised over $2,000 across our community.
Special mention to Southern Districts Cricket Club who contributed $1000.
Congratulations to Briony Gallagher who won the signed bat from the 2018 Australian ODI team.
🟡 Pink Stumps Round
Our next themed round will run from 26 July – 3 August.

🟡 Finals Eligibility Rules
Please see the rules below for player finals eligibility.
- DDCC Competition Rule 2.5.7
Where a club has two teams in the same grade, a player may play two (2) games for either team. Upon playing a third (3rd) game for a particular team, the player must remain in that team for the rest of the season.
- DDCC Competition Rule 5.1.1.1
No player may transfer to a lower grade after playing more than 10 matches in a higher grade (or combination of higher grades) without HCC approval.
Women's Competition
- T20 Playing Condition 1.2.2
To be eligible for Div 1 & 2 Finals, a player must have played in at least 3 playing days of that grade.
- T20 Playing Condition 1.2.3
A player is ineligible for a lower grade final if they have played more than 50% of their total playing days in a higher grade.
Example: Player A with 7 matches in Div 1 and 3 in Div 2 cannot play in a Div 2 Final.
Senior Competition
- A & B Grade Two-Day Finals
- Senior Playing Condition 4.7.1.2
A player must have played in at least 4 playing days of A/B Grade two-day competitions, or 4 playing days in lower grades with the club.
Note: Twelfth player (slash) counts as one playing day.
- Senior Playing Condition 4.7.1.2
- C & D Grade
- Senior Playing Condition 4.7.1.3
A player must have played in at least 6 playing days of that grade or lower grades.
Note: Sunday Grade matches do not count toward Saturday Grade eligibility. Twelfth man does not count.
- Senior Playing Condition 4.7.1.3
- Sunday Grades (1, 2, 3)
- Senior Playing Condition 4.7.1.4
A player must have played in at least 5 playing days of that grade or lower grades.
Note: Twelfth man does not count.
- Senior Playing Condition 4.7.1.4
Junior Competition
-
A player must have played in at least 50% of the matches in that grade to qualify for finals.
DDCC Senior Playing Condition 4.7 applies.
Please ensure your club's player records are up to date and that all team selections for finals comply with these rules.

The Club Resources page has been refreshed to better support our community clubs.

🟡 No More - The STAND Community Workshops
THE STAND is a new initiative inviting sporting clubs, workplaces, community groups, businesses, and organisations across the Territory to create and commit to a Domestic Violence Action Plan (DVAP).
In the workshop, participants will:
- A short introduction to domestic and family violence, what drives it - including gender inequality, trauma, colonisation, and harmful social norms.
- Understand why the NT is uniquely impacted, and why community-led actions is the key for change
- Explore how to get involved in The Stand Initiative
- Begin shaping a DVAP that reflects your group's values, needs, and strengths
Workshops in Darwin:
- 15th July 2025: 10am to 11am
- 15th July 2025: 5pm to 6pm
Workshops in Palmerston:
- 29th July 2025: 2pm to 3pm
- 29th July 2025: 5pm – 6pm
