Airport Development Group Celebrates NT Cricket’s Year of Growth

Airport Development Group congratulates NT Cricket on the release of its 2024–25 Annual Report
Celebrating collaboration, international reach, and the growth of cricket across the Top End

Airport Development Group (ADG) congratulates NT Cricket on the release of its 2024–25 Annual Report, recognising an outstanding year of growth, community participation, and strategic development for cricket across the Northern Territory.

The Report highlights major achievements in talent development, community engagement, facility upgrades and the strengthening of high-performance pathways. Together, these reinforce the Territory’s growing reputation as a national and international cricket destination.

Importantly, NT Cricket’s expanding program of elite fixtures, including International T20 matches, continues to position the Territory on the world stage. Last year’s broadcast reached more than 50 million international viewers, generating significant exposure for the NT in major cricket markets including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the wider subcontinent. This growing audience presents an unparalleled opportunity to raise awareness of the Territory as a destination for sport, tourism, trade, and cultural exchange.

As a proud partner of NT Cricket, ADG acknowledges the deepening collaboration between the two organisations and the shared ambition to bring more world-class cricket to the Top End.

ADG Executive General Manager, Commercial, Tristan Cribb,

“NT Cricket continues to demonstrate what is possible when community spirit, vision, and strong partnerships come together. Their 2024–25 Annual Report reflects both on-field success, and the exceptional opportunity cricket provides to showcase the Territory to our key markets to the north. With more than 50 million international broadcast viewers tuning in, NT Cricket is helping put the Northern Territory firmly on the global map. ADG is proud to support this growth and to strengthen the Territory’s position as an ideal host for major international events.”

NT Cricket CEO Gavin Dovey:

“Our collaboration with Airport Development Group has been instrumental in expanding cricket opportunities across the Top End. ADG recognises the Territory’s potential and shares our commitment to growing the game and amplifying the NT’s presence internationally. Together, we are showcasing the Northern Territory as a unique and world-class sporting destination.”

ADG looks forward to continuing its partnership with NT Cricket to champion grassroots participation, support elite pathways, and attract more national and international cricket to the Top End.
