As part of NAIDOC Week, NT Cricket is excited to announce the dates for our annual Remote Cricket Carnivals for the 2025/26 season.
Dates Announced for NT Cricket’s 2025/26 Remote Cricket Carnivals
These dates are now finalised, so don’t miss your chance to participate and bring home the silverware to your community! Gather your teams of six and get ready to compete.
These long-standing carnivals hold more than 21 years of cultural significance and continue to grow each year & have seen significant growth in previous years expanding into surrounding communities.
NT Cricket is excited to return to these communities to deliver fun, inclusive, and accessible cricket experiences.
As part of the 2025/26 remote carnivals, NT Cricket will be engaging surrounding communities and schools with cricket clinics, volunteer upskill sessions, coach education courses and donating equipment to encourage participation in each of the carnivals and drive sustainable legacies from our visits.
Importantly, these remote carnivals also form a pathway to competing in the annual Imparja Cup, which is Australia’s biggest Indigenous cricket carnival.
Across the four divisions of schools, women’s community, men’s community and major centres, the Imparja Cup is a celebration of the Territory’s Indigenous people and communities, with those best performing players also in consideration to represent the Northern Territory at the National Indigenous Cricket Championships.
