Play Cricket in Darwin - DDCC Import Expression of Interest Now Open!

Darwin has long been a winter destination for talented cricketers from across Australia and beyond. The Darwin & Districts Cricket Competition (DDCC) has welcomed some of the game’s brightest stars, including Brendon McCullum, Todd Murphy, Beau Webster, Jason Sangha and Josh Brown, all of whom have played on Darwin’s turf before making their mark on the national and international stage.

In 2025, the DDCC made history by welcoming female interstate imports for the first time. Kate Sherriff from Tasmania, playing for Nightcliff Cricket Club, was named Women's Cricketer of the Year, while Vanuatu internationals Rachel Andrew and Vicky Mansale played pivotal roles in Southern Districts Cricket Club's Division 1 premiership.

Building on this momentum, NT Cricket is now inviting the following categories to be part of the 2026 DDCC Winter Season Expressions of Interest from:

  • Male and Female Players
  • Coaches
  • Umpires
