NT Cricket is proud to announce a new partnership with The Raikot Group, a growing transport and logistics provider operating across Darwin and Cairns.
For the 2026 season, The Raikot Group will serve as the official Naming Rights Partner of the Darwin and Districts Cricket Competition C, D and E Grades, as well as the Live Streaming Partner.
Saturday community cricket remains the foundation of the game in the Northern Territory. These grades represent the heart of local clubs, where players, volunteers, and committee members contribute to the strength and sustainability of the sport.
The competition continues to grow, with the introduction of a new E Grade for the 2026 season. Across seven clubs, participation has expanded to 12 teams in C Grade, 10 teams in D Grade, and 7 teams in E Grade.
Satinder Singh, Director of The Raikot Group, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to supporting local communities.
“As a transport and logistics provider connecting Darwin and Cairns, we understand the importance of strong, reliable networks — both in business and in the community.
We are proud to support the C, D and E grades, where the real spirit of cricket lives. These competitions represent the backbone of local clubs, and we’re excited to contribute to their continued growth.”
Taking Local Cricket to a Wider Audience
In addition to supporting grassroots participation, The Raikot Group will play a key role in enhancing live streaming across the competition.
In 2025, NT Cricket’s digital platforms achieved strong engagement, recording over 169,000 views and more than 19,000 hours of watch time.
With this partnership, streaming capabilities will continue to improve, allowing players, families, and supporters to stay connected to local cricket across the Territory and beyond.
Karl Mayne, Head of Clubs and Competitions, welcomed the partnership:
“The community grades are the engine room of our clubs, and it’s fantastic to see strong participation across C, D and E Grades.
Having The Raikot Group support both grassroots cricket and live streaming is a significant boost for the competition and the wider cricket community.”
