Australian Test cricket great Nathan Lyon will be in Darwin Friday, 10 July, for a free public Q&A at Cullen Bay Lawns as excitement builds ahead of the NRMA Insurance Test Match between Australia and Bangladesh.
Hosted by Amy Hetherington, the relaxed sunset event will give fans the chance to hear from one of Australia’s most loved cricketers in a casual community setting at one of Darwin’s most iconic locations.
The Q&A will run from 5:30pm at Cullen Bay Lawns, with fans encouraged to come down, enjoy the Cullen Bay atmosphere and get around the build-up to Test cricket returning to the Northern Territory.
Lyon, one of Australia’s greatest ever Test bowlers, will speak about his career, life in the Australian team and the upcoming Darwin Test Match, which will be played at Marrara from 13 to 17 August.
Fans who register their attendance and turn up on the day will also go in the draw to win a Nathan Lyon signed shirt, signed hat and a double pass to one day of the Darwin Test Match.
The event is free to attend, with registration required for the raffle.
