Every match live and free across Australia on 7plus Sport
The Seven Network and Northern Territory Cricket today announced a new broadcast partnership that will bring every ball of the 2026 Study NT Top End T20 Series live and free to Australian audiences on 7plus Sport.
The agreement will see all 30 matches streamed nationally from 21 to 30 August, extending Seven’s cricket coverage in the Top End immediately following the NRMA Insurance Test between Australia and Bangladesh in Darwin.
Northern Territory Cricket’s marquee winter tournament brings international teams, global T20 franchises, Australian domestic talent and Big Bash League Academy programs together in Darwin during the dry season.
The nine-team 2026 field features New Zealand A, Bangladesh High Performance, Nepal, HH Kingsmen, ACT Comets and NT Strike, together with Academy squads from the Adelaide Strikers, Hobart Hurricanes and Cricket Victoria.
We are happy to leak that Australian domestic players including Will Sutherland, D’Arcy Short, Wes Agar, Sam Harper, Jason Sangha, Jordan Silk and Billy Stanlake are set to feature, alongside New Zealand internationals Tim Robinson, Dean Foxcroft and Katene Clark and experienced global T20 players Milind Kumar and Tajinder Singh Dillon.
The addition of the Top End T20 Series strengthens Seven and 7plus Sport’s year-round cricket offering, complementing the network’s coverage of Test cricket, the Big Bash League and Women’s Big Bash League.
It will also form part of a packed August schedule for cricket fans on 7plus Sport, with the Top End T20 Series following the Darwin Test and running alongside Seven’s coverage of the Australia-Bangladesh Test Series.
Seven Network Head of Cricket, Joel Starcevic, said:
“Hot on the heels of the Darwin International Test, we’re thrilled to deliver fans more cricket in the Top End, with every ball of the Top End T20 competition live and free on 7plus Sport, Australia’s Home of Cricket.
“Australians couldn’t get enough of last summer’s Big Bash League, and with the International Test Series starting early in 2026, we’re giving cricket fans even greater access to domestic T20 cricket too, all live and free.”
Northern Territory Cricket Chief Executive Officer Gavin Dovey said the agreement represented an important next step in the tournament’s continued development.
“This is a significant milestone for the Study NT Top End T20 Series, which has quickly become the second-best T20 competition in Australia behind the Big Bash League.
“Having all 30 matches live and free on 7plus Sport means supporters anywhere in Australia can follow the Series from the opening game through to the final.
“To have the Series featured alongside Seven’s coverage of the Australia and Bangladesh Test Series provides cricket fans with an outstanding schedule across August.
“The Northern Territory is the home of winter cricket, so we’re delighted to partner with Seven, the home of live and free cricket in Australia.”
